The “Nutrition Perk” is an offer in the United States for dog and cat owners to earn a coupon toward the cost of one (1) bag of dry dog or cat food, when they accumulate (9) qualifying purchases of bags of dry dog or cat food (treats excluded), as detailed below:

• To enroll in the Nutrition Perk, Vital Care membership account and the Petco App is required. Member must activate Nutrition Perk using the App through the account tab at the bottom of the App’s home screen. These steps may change from time to time at our discretion.
• When Nutrition Perk is activated in the App, qualifying purchases made within seven (7) days prior to activation will be automatically added as credits toward coupon, within approximately 48 hours. One (1) credit toward the Nutrition Perk will be earned per purchase of a qualifying bag of dry dog or cat food in a transaction that is linked to a Vital Care Account. After accumulating nine (9) qualifying purchases, member will earn one (1) food coupon for a free bag of dry dog or cat food. Effective September 1, 2022, any member who was opted into Nutrition Perk prior to September 1, 2022, will have the opportunity to receive their 8th bag free. Once member has completed their 7 qualified purchases, they will earn one (1) food coupon and their number of qualified purchases will reset to zero (0). The member will then need to make 9 qualified purchases to receive their next food coupon.
• Purchases of dog or cat treats do not qualify toward earning the Nutrition Perk, and any coupons earned through the Nutrition Perk may not be used toward the cost of treats. The coupon's value will be based on the average cost of the 9 qualifying purchases (up to $99.99), minus all discounts. However, if Vital Care Rewards are used toward the cost of a qualifying food purchase, the coupon's value will be based on the original average cost of the qualifying purchases before any Vital Care Rewards were applied to the purchase price. Free items offered through specific brand offers, or other Petco offers, do not qualify to earn credits toward the Nutrition Perk, unless specifically stated in writing on that coupon, offer, or promotional document.
• The coupons earned through the Nutrition Perk have no cash value and can only be redeemed for eligible bags of dry dog or cat food. Nutrition Perk coupons will expire ninety (90) days after they are issued. Earned coupons will remain available under the progress bar in the App, until redeemed in- store or online at Petco.com, or until it expires ninety (90) days after issuance.
• Once a coupon has been earned as part of the Nutrition Perk, the progress bar in the App will reset the number of qualifying purchases accrued to zero (0). When the progress bar resets to zero (0), member can then continue to earn credits towards another coupon based on the conditions in these and any other applicable terms. Petco may, at its sole discretion, include or combine additional promotional offers from time to time, available within the App or otherwise.
• Coupons earned through the Nutrition Perk cannot be shared with other customers or entities.
• The purchase of multiple brands and sizes of qualifying dry food can contribute to the same Nutrition Perk coupon. If any qualifying purchase is returned, or exchange them for a lower-priced product, the credits toward the coupon will be reduced accordingly. If the Nutrition Perk coupon was earned already, and then return or receive a refund on any qualifying purchases, we reserve the right to reduce the credits earned accordingly and may deduct the value/cost of the returned product from the value of future credits.
• The Nutrition Perk cannot be combined with any other promotional offers/discounts, redeemed for cash, gift cards, or other products, and cannot be applied to the cost of any taxes, shipping, or other Petco services or offerings unless expressly stated in these Terms or on that offer.
• To use the coupon online, the purchase must be shipped to addresses in the United States. Shipping fees may apply. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands or P.O. Boxes may result in additional shipping surcharges.
• If a qualifying Nutrition Perk purchase is not made for 365 days, any accumulated credits towards the Nutrition Perk coupon will expire, and the progress bar will be reset to zero (0).
• Vital Care Core membership must be active and in good standing to earn or redeem any coupon. If the Vital Care Core membership is revoked, terminated, or canceled, any credits toward the Nutrition Perk will automatically expire upon revocation, termination, or cancellation.
