The Sweepstakes Period begins on July 6, 2026 at 12:00:00 AM Central Time ("CT") and ends on August 1, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM CT. To enter via qualifying purchase of BLUE BUFFALO products, the qualifying purchase must take place between July 6, 2026 and August 1, 2026. For persons who enter without purchase, the 3" x 5" card with the required information must be postmarked by August 1, 2026 and received by August 7, 2026. Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc.'s computer is the official clock for the Sweepstakes.
The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are legal U.S. residents of the fifty (50) United States/D.C./Puerto Rico and who are at least eighteen (18) years old and who are members of the Petco Perks rewards program at the time of entry. Employees, directors, officers, independent contractors (including influencers and endorsers) and agents of Sponsor, Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc. ("Petco"), Administrator, and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and suppliers involved in the Sweepstakes (collectively, "Sweepstakes Entities"), as well as the members of each of their immediate families (i.e., spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling, child, grandchild and their respective spouses and the "steps" of each, all lineal descendants, including those by adoption, regardless of where they reside) and persons residing in the same household as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate. In addition, persons who were members of the Petco Perks rewards program (or, previously, the Vital Care rewards program) but had their membership suspended or terminated by Petco due to violation of the Terms & Conditions of the rewards program are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes participant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's/Petco's/Administrator's decisions and interpretations, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
During the Sweepstakes Period, a participant will automatically receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry if the participant provides his/her Petco Perks rewards program credentials and purchases $30 or more (calculated pre-tax; after application of any coupons or discounts) of BLUE BUFFALO dry or wet food or treats for dogs or cats. Qualifying purchase may be made at any physical Petco store location in the fifty (50) United States/D.C./Puerto Rico, online at https://www.petco.com, or in the Petco mobile app. To receive a Sweepstakes entry, a participant must provide his/her/their Petco Perks rewards program membership number at the time of checkout of a qualifying purchase of BLUE BUFFALO products (for purchase at a Petco store location) or be logged into his/her/their Petco Perks rewards program account at the time of a qualifying purchase of BLUE BUFFALO products (for purchase at https://www.petco.com or via the Petco mobile app). If Petco Perks rewards program credentials are not provided at the time of checkout of a qualifying purchase or the purchaser is not logged into his/her/their Petco Perks rewards program account at the time of a qualifying purchase, no Sweepstakes entry will be received; Sponsor, Petco and Administrator will not accept proof of Petco Perks rewards membership at a later time.
Qualifying purchase must have been made as part of a bona fide transaction in the ordinary course of business for the participant's personal use; without limitation, purchases of BLUE BUFFALO products for resale will not result in entry. Should BLUE BUFFALO items comprising a qualifying purchase be returned by the participant for a refund resulting in the total purchase falling below the $30 threshold, entry will be rescinded. Should BLUE BUFFALO item(s) comprising a qualifying purchase be exchanged for other BLUE BUFFALO item(s) during the Sweepstakes Period, entry will be provided only if the BLUE BUFFALO item(s) for which the originally purchased BLUE BUFFALO item(s) were exchanged still result in the qualifying purchase being $30 or more.
If the amount of a qualifying purchase exceeds $30, the participant will still receive only one (1) Sweepstakes entry in conjunction with that qualifying purchase. Sponsor or Petco may acknowledge receipt of the entry, but any such acknowledgment is not otherwise binding upon Sponsor or Petco. Any dispute as to the identity of the participant utilizing this entry method will be resolved by Sponsor and Administrator (in consultation with Petco) in their sole discretion. Important: If participating via a mobile device, message and data rates apply. Not all mobile telephone providers carry the necessary service to participate in this Sweepstakes. Participants should consult their wireless provider's pricing plans.
For clarity, the participant will receive points in the Petco Perks rewards program on the qualifying purchase as per the Terms & Conditions of the Petco Perks rewards program.

3" x 5" cards must be postmarked by August 1, 2026 and received by August 7, 2026. Limit one (1) 3" x 5" card per outer envelope. Mechanical reproductions or illegible 3" x 5" cards will not be accepted. If the 3" x 5" card is valid, the participant submitting it will receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry. Receipt of entry will not be acknowledged by Sponsor or Administrator.
Use of automated, robotic or programmed means of entry is prohibited. Proof of making a qualifying purchase at Petco store location; at https://www.petco.com; via the Petco mobile app; or mailing a 3" x 5" card does not constitute proof of Sponsor's/Administrator's receipt of same or proof of entry in the Sweepstakes.
On or about August 12, 2026, Administrator will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified beginning on or about August 17, 2026 by email; but, if the potential winner does not have an email address associated with his/her/their Petco Perks rewards program account (for automatic entry with qualifying purchase) or does not include an email address on the 3" x 5" card, he/she/they will instead be notified by phone. Potential winner must accept the prize by completing, signing and returning an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release (where lawful) within three (3) business days of the date of winner notification. Potential winner must still be a member of the Petco Perks rewards program (whose account has not been terminated or suspended by Petco) at the time of random drawing and prize award.
Participants understand and agree that Sponsor/Administrator will utilize commercially reasonable efforts to contact the potential winner and expressly waive any claim challenging the effectiveness and nature of such notification efforts.
Potential winner will be disqualified, and the prize forfeited without compensation of any kind in the event of any of the following: (i) the potential winner cannot be contacted by Sponsor/Administrator via email or phone (as applicable); (ii) the potential winner fails to complete, sign and return the Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release (where lawful) and thereby accept the prize within the three (3) business day period; or (iii) if Sponsor/Administrator determine in their sole discretion that the potential winner is not eligible (including being a Petco Perks rewards program member whose account has been terminated or suspended by Petco) or otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. If the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, the forfeited prize will be awarded in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries received.

1,000,000 Points will be credited to the winner's Petco Perks rewards program account up to four (4) weeks after verification of winner status.

There is a limit of one (1) prize per family, household or address. Any and all unspecified expenses in conjunction with the prize and taxes on the prize are the winner's sole responsibility. The prize is not transferable. No prize substitution is allowed except by Sponsor in its sole discretion if the prize is unavailable for any reason and only then for a prize of comparable value. The prize is not exchangeable or redeemable by the winner for cash.
Prize must be accepted as awarded. If the prize is accepted but unused, no compensation or substitute prize will be awarded.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name, address (city, state), likeness, character, photograph, voice, other indicia of persona and/or statements made by them regarding the prize, Sponsor, Petco or the Sweepstakes for advertising, trade and publicity purposes by Sponsor, Petco and their respective designees without notice or further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Nothing herein obligates Sponsor or Petco to make use of such rights and the failure of either party to do so will not result in any liability of either party to the winner.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the random drawing.
By participating in this Sweepstakes, participants agree that the Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, website providers and each of their respective officers, directors, stockholders, employees, representatives, designees and agents ("Released Parties") are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, undeliverable 3" x 5" cards or notifications or for 3" x 5" cards which are postage due; (ii) any computer, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, or availability; (iii) garbled, corrupt or jumbled transmissions, service provider/Internet/Website/UseNet accessibility, availability or traffic congestion; (iv) any technical, mechanical, printing or typographical or other error; (v) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of qualifying purchase of BLUE BUFFALO products at Petco, or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information; (vi) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, technical error, theft or destruction or unauthorized access; (vii) any injury or damage, whether personal or property, to participants or to any person's computer or mobile device related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes; and (viii) qualifying purchases of BLUE BUFFALO products at Petco that are late, forged, lost, misplaced, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged, garbled, inaccessible, unrecorded or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant agrees: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules; (ii) to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with respect to these Official Rules; (iii) to waive all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against any of the Released Parties in connection with the Sweepstakes; and (iv) to forever and irrevocably agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any and all claims, lawsuits, judgments, causes of action, proceedings, demands, fines, penalties, liability, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees) that may arise in connection with: (a) the Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to, any Sweepstakes-related activity or element thereof, and the participant's entry or inability to participate in the Sweepstakes or use the Prize (if applicable); (b) acceptance, receipt, delivery of, possession, defects in, use, non-use, misuse, inability to use, loss, damage, destruction, negligence or willful misconduct in connection with the use of the Prize (if applicable); (c) any change in the Prize (if applicable); (d) human error; (e) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of the Released Parties; (f) lost, late, stolen, misdirected, damaged or destroyed Prize (if applicable); or (g) the negligence or willful misconduct by a participant.
If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is severely undermined by any event beyond the control of Sponsor, including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, infection by computer virus, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or other cause not reasonably within the control of Sponsor (each, a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to abbreviate, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and/or proceed with the Sweepstakes and make the Prizes available to be won in a manner it deems fair and reasonable.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
This Sweepstakes is governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Minnesota, as to contracts being made and performed therein, without regard to the choice of law/conflict of law principles which would result in the application of the law of any jurisdiction other than Minnesota. If the controversy or claim is not otherwise resolved through direct discussions or mediation, it shall then be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its Arbitration Rules and Procedures or subsequent versions thereof ("JAMS Rules"). The JAMS Rules for selection of an arbitrator shall be followed, except that the arbitrator shall be experienced and licensed to practice law in Minnesota. All proceedings brought pursuant to this paragraph will be conducted in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The remedy for any claim shall be limited to actual damages which shall be no more than actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and in no event shall any party be entitled to recover punitive, exemplary, consequential or incidental damages or have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, including attorneys' fees or other such related costs of bringing a claim, or to rescind this agreement or seek injunctive or any other equitable relief. Participants agree that the rights and obligations of any participant and/or Sweepstakes Entities and/or any other party shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Any demand for arbitration must be filed within one (1) year from the end of the Sweepstakes Period, or the cause of action shall be forever barred.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Petco Perks points as well as participation in the Petco Perks rewards program will be governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without regard to the choice of law/conflict of law principles which would result in the application of the law of any jurisdiction other than California. If the controversy or claim cannot be resolved informally via the early resolution process outlined in the Terms & Conditions of the Petco Perks rewards program, it shall then be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") in accordance with the AAA's Consumer Arbitration Rules and Supplementary Rules for Mass Arbitration, as applicable ("AAA Rules") as modified by the Petco Perks rewards program Terms & Conditions. See the Terms & Conditions of the Petco Perks rewards program for information regarding the arbitration procedure, available forms of relief and other important restrictions and details.
Information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.generalmills.com/privacy-security/us-english-privacy-policy. Provision of Petco Perks rewards program membership number when participating in the Sweepstakes also implicates Petco's Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.petco.com/privacy-policy.
This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sweepstakes entry is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Any attempted form of participation in the Sweepstakes other than as described herein is void and will result in disqualification. Sponsor/Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any individual found, in its sole and absolute opinion, to be tampering with the operation of the Sweepstakes, seeking to defraud Sponsor/Administrator and/or Petco or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or to be acting with the intent to disrupt the normal operation of the Sweepstakes. (Such activity may also result in Petco suspending or terminating such individual's membership in the Petco Perks rewards program, if applicable.) Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed, third-party or like methods to participate in the Sweepstakes will void any attempted participation effected by such methods and result in the disqualification of the individual utilizing the same. Entries submitted become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any lost, late, undeliverable/undelivered submissions of qualifying purchase of BLUE BUFFALO products. In the event of any conflict with any Sweepstakes details contained in these Official Rules and Sweepstakes details contained in Sweepstakes materials (including, but not limited to, point of sale, television, and print advertising, promotional packaging, and other promotion media), the details of the Sweepstakes as set forth in these Official Rules shall prevail. These Official Rules may be modified by Sponsor and/or we may cease offering the Sweepstakes at any time. You agree that we may notify you of other Official Rules by posting them on the website (or in any other reasonable manner of notice which we elect), and that your participation in the Sweepstakes after such notice constitutes your agreement to the new Official Rules. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Any attempted form of participation in this Sweepstakes other than as described herein is void. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision and such provision shall remain in full force and effect. All materials submitted will not be returned.
