What summer products protect my dog's paws, coat, and repel bugs?
For days where it is very hot, you do want to avoid taking your dog for a walk at the hottest parts of the day (mid-day) especially on paved areas as your dog's feet can get burned. They do sell dog booties that you can put on your dog's feet to help protect them. If she has no skin/coat issues, just a gentle oatmeal shampoo is fine for bathing when needed. Most dogs do not need frequent bathing unless they are getting very dirty and bathing too often can dry their skin out. I wouldn't bathe more than every other week unless needed. If they are not, I would ask your vet what products are available where you live for these issues.

My dog picks up things. How do I stop this unwanted behavior?
Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If this is a behavior that you would like to stop, I find that using a spray bottle filled with water and spraying a dog lightly in the face helps to correct the behavior. Also, using an empty can filled with coins and shaking it loudly can help as well. I used both techniques on my dog and it worked quite well. The can trick was by far the most effective in my case. What are the best affordable dog boots for paw protection and comfort?
Ruffwear is generally considered one of the best apparel companies for pets. Otherwise it is all highly variable. I recommend to look at product recommendations online. Any boot is liable to cause annoyance to a pet since they are not use to wearing them. Petsmart and Petco both tend to carry products that work well and are durable.
