Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Adorable pictures! Whitey appears to be a Domestic Short hair. They come in many colors and patterns. There is something about his face that indicates he may have some Siamese or other Oriental breed in there but mostly Domestic Short hair. Have a great day!

My cat is grieving a lost family member. How can I help him cope?
I'm very sorry for your loss. Mineau could absolutely be grieving for your spouse. If possible, try to find one of your husband's old shirts, hats, or something that may have his scent and place this item near his bed. You could also try a calming pheromone collar or diffuser (Feliway is one example). I hope this helps.
