It sounds like Kobe may be exhibiting signs of anxiety. Try to get him back on a regular schedule and make sure he is getting plenty of human interaction and exercise. You can also try supplements like Zylkene or Comfort Zone Adaptil Collars or Diffusers. Also, make sure that Kobe has plenty of appropriate dog toys to chew on if he is bored; you may even get a couple puzzle toys where he has to do something to get a treat to fall out of the toy. When you are gone, remove any clothing or bedding to avoid Kobe chewing off a piece that could potentially get stuck in his intestines. If he starts vomiting or stops eating, he may need an exam with the vet to check for blockage or other illness.

Sorry, should have been more clear. You’ll pick these items up at your local grocery store or supermarket. Regular human benefiber (odorless, tasteless fiber powder). And any zinc-oxide baby diaper cream like Desitin is fine. Best wishes!

It sounds like he is experiencing some separation anxiety when left in the kitchen. You could try an Adaptil collar and Solliquin chews and see if that helps. Also, you could give him a Kong stuffed with treats or a puzzle toy to keep him busy for a few minutes after putting him in the kitchen. https://www.adaptil.com/us#redirected http://www.solliquin.com/

My favorite brands of food are Acana, Origen, Lotus and Hobest Kitchen. You can see if they are available in your area. Some of the freeze dried raw diets such as honest kitchen are very palatable to picky eaters. I also find that adding fish oil and warm water to dry kibble can be very appetizing. It is also a very healthy supplement for them.

There will be a period of adjustment when you'll have to be patient with the dog as she adjusts to her new owner. Be sure to know in advance what commands your friend uses, what behaviors in response to those commands she knows, etc. Even if she is "housebroken" at your friend's house, she will not know the rules at yours. so be sure to teach her, and do not get angry if she makes a few mistakes as she learns. Have your friend bring Ana to your home several times before he leaves, so she can get used to it and you. If you have questions or concerns once she is with you, I can help.
