What's the best behavioral training for my Maltese: classes or online?

You should start with a basic obedience class. This will help teach simple commands and to listen with other dogs and people around. From there you can progress to more advanced classes. The group settings will help a lot with dominance

Unfortunately, it's impossible to know how to give you the best advice without being able to observe the dogs. Canine aggression is a complex behavior as it can stem from dominance, possessiveness, fear, anxiety, resource guarding or a combination. Most people are not familiar with reading canine body language and training. Because of this, I recommend to work with a professional trainer. Researching on your own will also be helpful. Familiarizing yourself with canine body language and dog training can help you to recognize what your pet is trying to say. You can find many books written on the topic and there is a trainer named Victoria Stilwell who I think is particularly helpful. Also make sure ALL the animals are spayed and neutered. Animals who are intact are much more likely to fight than pets who are sterilized. Best of luck.

Pack leader ideology is an outdated training method, so I wouldn't put too much weight into it. I would highly recommend checking out training techniques such as loose-leash walking, and working on sit and look at me commands to help improve focus while out on walks (and decrease pulling). Training tools such as an easy-walk harness and gentle-leader can also help during the training session by gently redirecting your dog's pulling force back to you, preventing them from being able to tug your arm off while you practice good walking behavior. As for the other issues, a basic obedience class together is a good thing to look into as it can help you better learn to communicate and help instill some impulse control with jumping and other behaviors. Working on things such as air-planing treats, not jumping up (by turning and walking away, or having him sit calmly), etc can help with this as well. You will need to contact your local Petco to discuss which class will be best for Mocha, but in general puppy play time is only a short play time for young puppies. If Mocha has not done any classes yet, start with a basic obedience class and get her used to being in a small area with other dogs. If she does well with that and you want to get her more play time with other dogs, then I would look into a doggy day care near you since she likely has enough energy for a prolonged play time. I usually recommend that at the beginning you start by adding pads in just one place in the house so that they get used to urinating in only one spot. This usually works very well. Positive reinforcement is of course also important so giving her treats when she does go in the pad is very important so that she associates going in the pad with something positive. Good luck!
