My dog fights due to dominance. What training classes are best?

Neutering will definitely help, but it won't be an "off switch" for his dominance. A pheromone product, such as the Adaptil collar, may help the behavior. Consider formal training/obedience classes. Make Billy "work" for everything. If he wants to go out, play, eat he has to perform a task (sit, stay, etc). Correct negative behavior immediately. Praise and reward him when he complies. Ant treat or reward he gets should be tiny. If he acts up or gets too wild, place him in a different room or area (not his crate) until he settles down. Be firm and be consistent.

Pack leader ideology is an outdated training method, so I wouldn't put too much weight into it. I would highly recommend checking out training techniques such as loose-leash walking, and working on sit and look at me commands to help improve focus while out on walks (and decrease pulling). Training tools such as an easy-walk harness and gentle-leader can also help during the training session by gently redirecting your dog's pulling force back to you, preventing them from being able to tug your arm off while you practice good walking behavior. As for the other issues, a basic obedience class together is a good thing to look into as it can help you better learn to communicate and help instill some impulse control with jumping and other behaviors. Working on things such as air-planing treats, not jumping up (by turning and walking away, or having him sit calmly), etc can help with this as well. Puppy classes are very helpful for many reasons - they allow the pup to socialise with other dogs in a safe, controlled environment, they provide an opportunity for you to learn skills in how to train your dog and they also allow you to see how other dogs and owners learn similar skills and allow you to share knowledge in problem solving etc. There are many pnline, puppy training courses - be sure to choose one which focuses on positive, reward based training and not on dominance/fear based methods

Congratulations on adding Teddy to your family! Puppies can be frustrating at times. The behavior described is consistent with a frustrated puppy. It is not unusual for a puppy that is frustrated to bark, growl or completely ignore things that you say. He is not trying to exert dominance he just may not really understand what you are asking. Your best bet for getting Teddy to follow your directions is to have a consistent training plan and use high-value rewards. When you tell him no, he doesn't really understand what you want him to do. You will likely have better luck telling him what you would like him to do. For example, if you want him to walk nicely on a leash it's better to teach him a look command rather than just yank on the leash to get him to go where you want. Using a look command will tell him what you want him to do which is keep his eyes on you rather than what's going on in the neighborhood. I strongly recommend enrolling in some solcialisation classes run by a certified trainer or behaviorist in order to improve his interactions with other dogs and his focus on your commands. This will take a lot of time and patience on your behalf given his is fully grown now, I would also consider neutering him as long as there is no fear/anxiety in his behaviors - ask the trainer to fully assess before you schedule this and consider a temporary castration implant initially which will reverse over 6months or so if necessary

I like to train with my dog and start in a group obedience class. That way Kobe learns to listen to you with other dogs around. Obedience training is fun and you'll both enjoy it. I took my dog to several different classes with different trainers as he grew up. Training can be needed for the first year or two to have a well behaved dog. If you are having problems then I'd get one on one training. Personally I only send hunting dogs away for specialized training.
