My dog is vomiting blood. What medicine can I give without a vet?

It sounds like Sabina may have a gastric ulcers, or it could be a really bad case of gastritis. There is nothing appropriate to give her at home that is not a prescription drug, so I would take her to the vet asap. Don't feed her in the mean time as it could exacerbate the problem.

I it may be a reaction to the medication or there could have been something else alreadybtherr that just didn’t show it self yet such as an infection. If you are displeased with your vet then you can seek a second opinion but i would give the vet a call or schedule a recheck to see if they want to change medications or do blood work to address the vomiting now. Since there is blood in the vomit I would recommend getting him rechecked to make sure it does not continue and he doesn’t get dehydrated from it

Offer very small amounts of food and water today. If he can eat it and it stays down wait a couple of hours and repeat. If he is painful in his belly, looks bloated or continues to vomit this may be severe and you need to figure out how to get him to the vet.

It sounds as Choco is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet URGENTLY, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

If Honey is vomiting, especially vomiting blood, she needs to go to the veterinarian. This could indicate a toxicity such as rat poison, a hereditary coagulation disorder given her age and she's bleeding inside, or even if she got into something like an anti-inflammatory and bleeding stomach ulcer. It could also indicate G.I. parasites causing digested blood in her GI tract. However anytime we see blood in the vomit and dark tarry stool's we become very concerned about life-threatening anemia. Do not give Honey any human medication including anything like Pepcid, Pepto-Bismol, or Zantac until she is examined by a veterinarian.

Poor Lady! Eating tissue paper should not normally cause any significant issues unless she ate a very large amount, so this is probably not related. Poor Lily. Vomiting streaks of blood is a medical emergency ,and she could have a foreign body, damage to her stomach or esophagus, GI ulcers, or may have eaten something toxic. You need to take her into a vet immediately.
