My pitbull has a painful, oozing, wart-like rash on her mouth?

This is a skin infection. Medicated baths sometimes help but fair skinned dogs are more prone to allergies and skin infections. To clear this up she probably needs oral antibiotics for several weeks. This is not contagious. Some dogs develop this when laying in a moist area, or on something irritating. Please take her for a veterinary exam to confirm the problem and get medication to treat this. The first picture looks like a large series of insect bites all in one location. If Jackson has been sticking his head in any weird areas where something like that could happen, that would be a reasonable guess as to the cause of the lesions. Determining with certainty the cause of the rash is not easy without significant diagnostic testing including skin scrapings and cytology at minimum. I think that the swelling and the affected area still look bad enough that Jackson could probably benefit from a systemic antibiotic to address the skin, as well as a topical ointment with both antimicrobial / anti-inflammatory properties to help with the swelling and redness. If the area has been itchy even a little bit, Jackson should be wearing an e-collar to prevent any further damage (and as a result delayed healing) to the area in question. As far as things she can do at home if the vet is not an option, use of betadine and a over the counter steroidal cream would both be beneficial. You can obtain an e-collar through your vet or a pet store, or you can even make a home made one ( there are lots of videos available on YouTube on how best to do this). Hope this helps!

While it's difficult to say for certain if it is a staph infection I agree that it looks bacterial, but a fungal infection could look very similar. Skin infections in this area can occur secondary to irritation so make sure you use a glass or stainless steel bowl and clean it frequently. Allergies would be another possibility. This looks fairly severe in your picture - I'd recommend seeing your vet in person to determine if oral antibiotics are needed.

Without seeing Karma it's hard to say what's going on. It sounds like a wound, maybe from scratching. I recommend making an appointment with her vet to check out the area. Karma may need some antibiotics. Kisses for Karma!

Oh that rash on Mia does look bad. It's time to see a vet. The vet can diagnose what is causing the rash such as allergies, fleas, or mites, and can treat her. I'd take her into a vet in the morning. Tonight, trying giving her an oatmeal bath to see if that helps temporarily soothe her skin. Best of luck.

These sores could be caused by a skin infection that was just starting when you first say your vet, but is now worse and needs treatment. The sores could also be caused by parasites, allergies, or even be wounds. I recommend scheduling another appointment with your veterinarian so they can see what her skin looks like now. Also ask your veterinarian about the aspirin usage - there are better and safer medications available for arthritis that they may be able to get for you. Good luck!

This is probably due to an allergy, although it could also be infection or mites. First of all, in order to rule out skin parasites, you will need to treat with a high quality flea treatment, then ask the vet to perform a skin scrape - this might reveal an infection or a mite infestation. If all of those came back negative, the next step is to treat the allergy symptomatically and try to discover the cause of the allergy. Three main type of allergies are usually affecting pets: food allergies, flea and parasite related ones and environmental type (allergens coming from trees, pollens, dust etc etc). Some medications can be given by the vet in order to repair any possible skin lesions (like steroids and antibiotics).
