Why is my kitten crying loudly after her long stay at the vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | spayed | 3.5 lbs

So i've had my kitten for about 4 almost 5 months. We gave her to the vet to get her check and cleaned up and haven't seen her for about 2 weeks. When I went to go see her the person that worked there brought her out and she was crying loudly. she leaped from his arms to mine and stopped crying. She then ran up to my should and around the back of my neck. So was crying loudly in my arms also. I'm sure she just misses me but i just wanna know exactly what the meaning towards this was.

That's wonderful that Pringles was so excited to see you again! Vet clinics can be scary places with new smells and sounds. Often cats are fine if they are in a "safe" place like a kennel, but being carried around the clinic can be very scary. So, that may be why Pringles was crying. But it sounds like she was very happy to see you again which is wonderful. I hope she has settled in well at home again.

Hello. This was a very stressful event for autumn, so I would give her another 24 hours to see if she calms down. If she is still obviously agitated, I would recommend a visit to your vet. She may have ingested something while under the floorboards, or there may actually be something going that made her go down the hole in the first place - curiosity aside. Going without food & water for 24 hours should not be a significant event for her. She may just be interested in whatever is down the hole. It can take your kitten a week or two to acclimate to its new surroundings. He has to get used to his new environment and used to the fact that he's not around his littermates and mother anymore. Just keep giving him plenty of attention and affection and he should be fine in no time.

Why is my cat crying and howling at reflections after travel?

Poor Stella. It sounds like she is suffering from a bit of anxiety since y'all left. I would try adding some feliway diffusers through the house. These are cat pheromones to help calm them but unfortunately, doesn't work on every one. I would also try some calming chews called vetriscience composure. If these don't help, I would talk to your vet about an anti-anxiety medicine to see if that helps. I guess if all else fails, you can remove any mirrors that she can easily access. Why is my indoor cat shaking and meowing after being outside?

Feed him and water him and examine him closely for pain, blood or injuries, check his nail (whether they are frayed...if so, he may have been hit by a car), observe him walk and whether he is lame. If all is well, he is probably just very very happy to be home again with you. He may have been very scared outside considering he is usually an inside kitty. Give him lots of TLC. If he keeps crying or has any signs of an injury, or appears ill or hurt, you should take him to ta pet ER tonight.

Why is my mother cat crying and howling after losing kittens?

Hello. It is possible that something got her kittens & she is distressed over this. Only time will help. It is possible that she also in heat again & a cat in heat is a very vocal cat. I would try to follow her to see if you can find the kittens. If she does not seem to want to find the kittens, then they may indeed be gone.
