My cat is throwing up. Is this cat pregnancy morning sickness?

If Karma is vomiting occasionally, then it might just be "morning sickness" from pregnancy. If she is vomiting consistently throughout the day and isn't keeping food down, this is concerning. Typically nausea during pregnancy is over by 4 weeks, but it is possible to last a bit longer. However, if this continues there may be another cause. You can try giving a small meal right before bed, and consider trying a bland diet like white rice and boiled chicken for a few days to see if that helps. Decreased appetite is normal in the later stages of pregnancy. So no worries there, as long as she is eating portions of her food. Loose stool can also occur, but should return to normal after a few days, and she should still have normal energy level and not hide. Hiding in cats, when they typically are social cats, is usually an indicator that something is wrong. I would see how she does in the next day or two, and if the diarrhea does not resolve, then have her stools checked by your vet. Hi, and thanks for your question. This may be caused by the space occupying kittens pushing on abdominal organs. I would suggest to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days but you can keep the meals in small portions. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice diarrhoea, more vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. While pumpkin seeds are not toxic to cats I don't know that I would recommend feeding them often and I am not aware of any digestive benefits. If she is vomiting frequently this may not be normal and you should see your veterinarian to make sure everything is okay. Baths should be fine to continue as long as she doesn't get too distressed during bathing.

I'm sorry Mago isn't feeling well at the moment! It's good that she has been eating and drinking normally, but it is concerning that she is coughing, throwing up mucus, and wheezing. Because her health is so important for her kittens, I would have her seen by a vet in the morning. The vet can prescribe medications if needed to treat her symptoms. I hope this helps!

Mia does look like her abdomen is mildly distended, which may be due to pregnancy, or may be secondary to another underlying issue (fluid accumulation, etc.). If she is pregnant and her expected due date is in 2-3 weeks, an xray can verify pregnancy, as well as count how many kittens (if any) she is going to have (and sometimes kittens can be felt on physical examination). I would recommend having her evaluated by your regular veterinarian to determine if she is pregnant or if she has another underlying issue that needs to be addressed. Good luck!
