My super chewer needs safe, durable toys that won't break teeth.
You are correct that antlers and nylon bones will break teeth, but they can also cause obstructions and/or perforations in the GI tract. I recommend a Kong toy. Those are very tough chew toys that are hard to dogs to destroy. You can also fill them with treats. I'd recommend, as an occasional treat, filling it with peanut butter and freezing it overnight in the freezer. That will keep her occupied for a while.

What are the best long-lasting chews for dogs who eat them fast?
To keep dogs entertained for a longer period of time, I like to feed dehydrated chews. My largest dogs prefers bully sticks (https://www.bestbullysticks.com/4-inch-odor-free-bully-sticks) and my smaller dog loves dehydrated fish skins (https://www.thehonestkitchen.com/beams). They also like dehydrated sweet potato chews like Sam's Yams, but I might do something smaller for Jasper like their Bichon Fries (https://www.frontporchpets.com/sam-s-yams-bichon-fries-new-larger-size-12-5-oz.html). There are a large number of dehydrated chews on the market now, so you might ask at your local pet store to see if they have any suggestions for you. Please let me know if that was helpful. Kong toys that you can fill with peanut butter work great and you can find the kong toys online or at your local pet store. Hi there. I do like the Himalayan Yak Chews for large-breed dogs - just make sure to get the largest size they have. Large bully sticks and all natural rawhide chews (I like the ones made by Raw Feeding Miami) are also good options.

Why is my dog suddenly chewing shoes and challenging commands?
Well, Ranger is adorable, but that's one chewed up shoe! It's possible that as a nearly mature adult, he's starting to challenge some of the rules you've so clearly established previously. We see this from time to time with other behavioral issues (especially potty training), and I'm not sure I can tell you the exact reason in Ranger's case. If you are noticing that his chewing sounds different, it would be worth it to get his teeth/mouth checked by your vet, since hard chews (especially antlers!) can cause broken teeth (the upper 4th premolar most commonly) which could explain the change in sound. If everything is OK, you're going to have to go back to those puppy basics - keeping everything chewable out of reach, gentle scolding (no!) when you find him chewing something he shouldn't, and redirection to appropriate chew toys (I love Kongs, especially). Be consistent and have patience, he'll re-learn his training.
