Yes, Solid Gold is a good quality food that has been around for many years and has a good reputation. I think it is often a good idea to rotate protein sources and can help dogs be less picky. If Sky has a sensitive stomach, you should change protein sources gradually over a couple of days to prevent an upset stomach. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. This product is just a flavor enhancer and is only necessary to help get your dog to eat his normal food. It does have some nutritional properties to it and the ingredients all appear safe and appropriate to use for feeding. Just keep in mind that you are adding calories, so it should be minimally used with his normal food and you may consider cutting back his normal food a little if you are going to regularly add this to it. This product is definitely not intended to replace the food and is not nutritionally balanced like the royal canin food is. I hope that helps and all is well with Joey.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Tater-Tot (great name!) I am sorry that she is not doing well. It is hard when senior dogs stop wanting to eat the food that agrees with them the most. Since she has a sensitive stomach and likes the stews, I would ask your Vet about Hill's i/d stew. It is prescription but it is an intestinal diet so she may tolerate it better. Also Weruva makes a human grade canned food called Funcky chicken that is human grade. Looks like chicken soup, I have heard that 90% of dogs that don't want to eat will eat that. I wish you the best

Boiled skinless chicken breast or cooked eggs could be added as toppers - just be sure that these foods along with other treats make up less than 10% of the total diet so there aren't any nutritional deficiencies.

Every dog is a little different and you may have to experiment a bit to find the food that Roscoe tolerates the best. I don't know what your budget is, or what is specifically available in your area, but here are a few brand options: Natural Balance Taste of the Wild Merrick Canidae Most of these brands offer grain free treats as well.
