While Halloween may be fun for us, it can be stressful for pets. Before the trick-or-treaters start ringing the doorbell, be sure that your pet is safely confined in a crate or room so that they don’t escape amidst the chaos. Keep any candy or treats out of reach of pets. Chocolate is toxic to pets, and many other treats or candies can lead to gastrointestinal upset or pancreatitis. If your pet becomes excessively anxious when the doorbell rings repeatedly, discuss solutions with your veterinarian.

Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, there are some good low calorie treats called "Tricky Trainers"which are only 3kcal/treat. They taste very good and smell good too! My dogs at home go bonkers for them. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Hi there! Superman and batman for halloween- I love it! Very cute. A small tiny bit of cooked shellfish should be okay, but I would advise against raw shellfish/fish as there are parasites and bacteria in them that could make them both sick. Hope this helps and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

Hello and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is not the best idea to give Olie sweet food. Eating too much sugar and carbohydrates can lead to problems with obesity in dogs, just like in people. It is better to stick with healthier treats - you may want to try offering Olie a piece of carrot or small piece of sweet potato instead of sweets.
