Getting a new puppy? What should I do to prepare for their arrival?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. What are the best dog and puppy food and treat brands to buy?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. In terms of treats, I think the milk bones products are both nutritious, palatable and reasonably priced. Good luck and best wishes!

My dog only plays with his old ball. How can I introduce new toys?
Sometimes dog just like their old worn out toys, just like with kids. If he doesn't want to play with the new one and only wants the old one then let him play with the one he likes.
