Is it safe to mix Pedigree puppy food with PetLac milk for my puppy?
Prepare the PetLac according to the directions on the label. Pour that into the puppy food and soak until it is soft, then mix it up so your puppy can eat it easily. Ideally, a puppy should stay with the mother and litter until at least 8 weeks of age. Since your pup is so young, you will need to keep a close watch on her weight and condition. Weigh her daily to confirm weight gain. Keep her warm and dry. Have her examined by your veterinarian to confirm good health. She will need to be dewormed and you can discuss vaccines with the vet. I am unsure of what brands of food are available in India. You can visit the pet store and then post the brands in another question so we can recommend a good quality food for your puppy.

What supplements does my young German Shepherd puppy need?
I would actually recommend weaning Tobi onto a puppy wet food. he is old enough to do a transition to puppy food. If you do this then you do not need to add in supplements. We typically do not recommend cows milk or cerelac for dogs. If you wanted to still give a type of milk then you can do a puppy milk replacer but again he is old enough to wean off of this. Nutri-Cal is great if you need to get quick calories into a new pup. It can then be followed with an appropriate puppy milk replacer such as Esbilac or Pet-Lac. The powdered form would be recommended so you can mix up just what is needed and prevent waste.

What dry dog food should I feed and is milk safe for my dog?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Milk can sometimes cause gastrointestinal upset so I would avoid giving her milk consistently. I prefer Royal Canin and Science diet. Any of their varieties should be good options for Browny. Best of luck!
