Hi there and thanks for your post on PetCoach! I would recommend calming supplements for your pets that have L-theanine in them which can have a calming effect. I would recommend a product called Composure from VetriScience which comes in a liquid and chewable form. I have the product linked below: I hope this helps!

Melanonin does not have sedating properties, so it will not help with anxiety. There are a number of natural supplements that may help with travel anxiety. You might consider VetriScience Composure. Be sure to try it before you travel to see how Bree does with it. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using PetCoach.

It sounds as though Skye may have anxiety when travelling. I would recommend using a product called NaturVet Quiet Moments Calm Chews with Melatonin, which can be found online quite easily. I would also consider using products such as Rescue Remedy for dogs and an Adaptil Pheremone collar, which also can be found online. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

VetriScience Composure chews or liquid daily for at least a few days prior to your trip is effective in noticeably calming many patients. It contains natural ingredients including theanine and is available on chewy.com and PetCo.com. If you find that the Composure is not sufficiently relaxed with just Composure, I would schedule an appointment with your vet to make sure that Rexy is up to date on vaccines and flea/tick/heart worm prevention and to inquire about a sedative such as trazadone or prescription Xanax that your vet may be comfortable with for Rexy. If you are flying, definitely inquire with the airline about whether an official health certificate is required. Enjoy your vacation!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! yes they are fine. I would recommend trying them out first on an experimental car ride to be sure they work well enough. Sometimes the over the counter calming treats don't work as well as we want them too. If the experimental trip fails then I would discuss sedatives with your Vet. I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck!
