I am not familiar with Dr. Jeff's products. So sorry. I'm not really sure what you are looking for in a supplement? An immune system booster? Just a vitamin? Probiotics? Skin/Coat health? Joint health? I would recommend this one for Immune health: https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=133838 Pet Tabs are the tried and true multivitamin for dogs. It has been around for a long time. Excellent company and product with no previous issues. Cost effective. Very palatable so dogs like it. This is a very good question! It is always wise to be proactive about our pet's health. If you ever have concerns about how your dog is doing then a call and visit to your vet can help to set your mind at ease. Things to watch for that would indicate health problems include vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite and energy level, unusual behaviors and limping. Discuss food recommendations with your regular veterinarian. Brands such as Purina, Hills and Royal Canin all have veterinarians on-staff to ensure their food is top quality and nutritionally balanced. If you are feeding a good balanced diet then supplements of vitamins and minerals are not necessary.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! As you pointed out, they may be eating poop due to a deficiency of vitamins and minerals. Please remember that sometimes this is behavioral in nature. You can consider adding a multi-vitamin to their daily regimen. You may find these online or at your local pet store. If adding this, you would not have the need to feed them more which would likely result in weight gain. Good luck!

When an older dog is having a behavior change they should be checked out by your vet. Eating stools at this age is not normal and almost always has an underlying medical cause. You can try this supplement if you wish to see if it helps. If it does not, she should definitely see your vet. ( https://www.thepetcarefactory.com/online-store-digestive-health ) It would also be a good idea to add some of this supplement to the other dog's food to make the stools "taste bad" so hopefully it will curb Cora from wanting to eat it: ( https://www.animigo.co.uk/coprophagia-for-dogs.html )

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Bella. There is usually a medical reason for soft stool. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian. Fecal testing may be needed and possibly bloodwork. Parasites and diet are the most common causes of diarrhea or soft stool in young dogs. It may be that her current diet does not agree with her. Her breed, however, is prone to a condition known as exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. I hope this information helps!
