You can buy a cat from Craig's list for example, but I do not recommend buying a cat sight unseen. I never recommend that. You should always check out the home where it's coming from, you can assess it's condition, and seeing the cat makes sure you are getting the animal you have paid for. In addition, there are no websites where you can just buy a cat and have it shipped to you. I hope this helps.

Yes! Check out basepaws.com for a genetic test you can buy to use with your cat. You just apply a bit of tape (supplied in the kit) to your cat's fur, submit the entire piece as a sample, and you get results in a few weeks.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would recommend you move in first and get used to the new place before you get the cat. This will help bring everything inside before getting the cat as cats tend to get very stressed when there is a lot of movement or noise in their in new environments. Perhaps wait 1-2 months before you get a cat. Good luck and have a great day!

There are no over the counter medications to help with labour and delivery and it is possible that the most appropriate option is a caesarean section to ensure complete and speedy delivery of any remaining kittens

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I agree with you that Oreo needs to go to a vet. It sounds like you should do your best to not wait until Tuesday. If there is a 24 hour clinic in your area, or if your vet provides after-hours care, then I would get Oreo in right away. There isn't really anything you can do for him at home given what you have described. Usually if you call your vet, even if they are closed they will leave a message that tells you who to call in case of an emergency. If your vet doesn't have this try other vets in your area. Best of luck with Oreo.
