Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I think the Purina Pro Plan diets are very good and also affordable. Both dry and wet diets are equally good in general especially for younger cats. I prefer wet food in older cats when I am concerned about kidney disease just to increase the water content in the diet. Good luck and have a great day!

Any of these would be fine: ( https://www.amazon.com/Hills-Science-Diet-Kitten-Chicken/dp/B003M5TGCI/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=kitten+dry+food&qid=1575986553&sr=8-8 ) ( https://www.amazon.com/Purina-Pro-Plan-Chicken-Formula/dp/B003R0LLXU/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=kitten+dry+food&qid=1575986553&sr=8-6 ) ( https://www.amazon.com/Royal-Canin-Feline-Nutrition-Kittens/dp/B00ECQ966W/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=kitten+dry+food&qid=1575986553&sr=8-9 )

Yes, I personally like Royal Canin diets. For her age, just the regular Adult food is fine. ( https://www.royalcanin.com/ca/en_ca/cats/products/vet-products?specialneeds=0ad835cc921d4d0cb3ee61a8cc461fbe&feedingperiod=78.3&filter=643ceeb4-c516-477f-96db-fd7ee1b41ec0 ) She can eat either wet or dry; whichever she prefers and what you can afford. Canned food can be very expensive if that is all you are feeding. You can also feed a combination of both wet and dry if you'd like. Feed her according to the directions on the packaging. If you do both wet and dry you need to make sure you don't overfeed her. She is already at her maximum weight so if you notice weight gain you will need to back off on how much you are feeding.

Happy birthday to Earl Grey! I hope he has a wonderful day. Yes, some boiled chicken will be just fine for him, and I'm sure he will love it. You can offer him some tuna as well, and I'd get him some Temptations treats. My cats adore them. I hope this helps!

Great question! Royal Canin has a dry food that is for cats with sensitive teeth, and I will put a link below for it. As for differences between brands, yes there are ones. Cheaper foods will not have as good quality ingredients as the most expensive brands of food, making the price lower. In addition, certain brands of food like Royal Canin and Hill's Science Diet have veterinary nutritionists on staff to ensure the food is formulated to meet the needs of the cat; not all cat food brands have this. Friskies is not one of the supermarket brands I recommend, I personally prefer Purina. Higher quality brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. Best of luck, I hope this all helps! https://www.chewy.com/royal-canin-oral-care-dry-cat-food/dp/29863
