I recommend thinking about what changes have happened in the last couple of days. Have you moved any furniture, replaced lightbulbs, or plugged in any new appliances? Some electronics can have sounds that we can't hear, but can trigger anxiety in our pets. There are a couple things you can try for anxiety; Composure chews and Adaptil diffusers. Adaptil is a pheromone that can help with anxiety. It is available as a plug-in room diffuser for large areas, and as a spray for small areas like a mat or bed. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/dog/dog-health-and-wellness/dog-calming-aids/comfort-zone-diffuser-with-dap-for-dogs Thanks for using PetCoach.

I would avoid using essential oils directly on your dog as it could cause skin irritation, or be toxic, depending on the oil. If you use diffusers in your home, making sure Hudson is in a well-ventilated area away from it can help prevent inhalation that could cause irritation or illness.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. I would recommend using a humidifier until you can get him to the veterinarian. Do not use any decongestant products over the counter as these can have harmful toxic effects on animals. Avoid any essential oils and no vapor rubs as these can be irritants to the airway. I hope this helps!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You could try letting your shower water run warm/hot with the door closed which will result in steam concentrating in the bathroom and possibly helping Brain's clogged nose. You can try this for 10-15 minutes a few times a day. Good luck!

The best thing to do is buy a home filter system that will purify the air - like a HEPA air purifier. I don't know if it is available where you are but this is what it looks like: ( https://www.webmd.com/allergies/hepa-filters-for-allergies ) ( https://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Home-Kitchen-HEPA-Filter-Air-Purifiers/zgbs/home-garden/510192 ) I would just use a damp towel to wipe him off when he comes in from outside. This should help a lot.
