Hello. In general, the use of essential oils is contraindicated for indoor pets. If you keep the windows open for plenty of fresh air it kind of defeats the purpose of the lavender. A better option is to use a cat appeasing pheromone. I like Feliway as you plug it into an outlet in as many rooms as Shadow occupies, & it emits a undetectable scent that has calming properties to cats. I would also start him on a calming supplement like Zylkene made by Vetoquinol. Lastly, make sure Shadow is not having actual physical problems in the litter box. You do not say if his issues are with defecation or urination, but some male cats can develop a form of cystitis that if not addressed quickly can result in a urinary blockage, a life threatening condition. If he is defecating outside the box, adding another box in another location, using a product called Cat Attract in the box, & the Feliway often helps. Sully is adorable! Thanks for including a picture. I wish I could give you a simple answer to your question, but every animal is different and some require a combination of products. I would say that about 50% of the animals I try it with have a good response to Rescue Remedy, so that is often my first choice for cats (especially since it can just be added to the water). I have not used the other products, but both appear to have ingredients that could be used alone or in combination with Rescue Remedy. Don't forget that natural supplements are much more variable than medications and will not sedate, so they are sometimes not enough for a very anxious cat. I also recommend combining supplements with a Feliway Diffuser ( https://www.feliway.com ) or a Comfort Zone Diffuser ( https://www.comfortzone.com/ ) in your house. This is a calming pheromone that will work for a month. You could also consider calming music specifically for cats ( http://throughadogsear.com/tace/through-a-cats-ear-1-music-for-calming/ ). Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using PetCoach.

I haven't used Beaphar products before, but just looking at their ingredients, I would probably recommend using their treats for the actual drive because it has 3 different ingredients that may help with stress. If you think that needs to be combined with a longer lasting product, it looks like the collar has both Valerian and lavender, while the spot on only has Valerian. But if your cat is not used to wearing a collar, then she may not tolerate the collar well. I would contact the company to discuss the specifics of your move and ask them for a recommendation. As far as other products to consider to help stranger cats get along, I have a couple suggestions (although the Beaphar products may be very helpful). The goal is to decrease stress between the cats. One option for decreasing stress is to add a Feliway Diffuser ( https://www.feliway.com ) to your house. This is a calming pheromone that will work for a month. I have also had luck with Rescue Remedy ( http://www.bachflower.com/rescue-remedy-pet/ ) which can be added to the water. You could also consider calming music specifically for cats ( http://throughadogsear.com/tace/through-a-cats-ear-1-music-for-calming/ ). Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using PetCoach.

Lavender oil is listed as toxic to cats in most toxicology databases. Inhaling it may cause respiratory irritation. If enough is inhaled, it may cause serious toxicity. Given how dangerous it is, not having it in the house at all would be recommended.

Lavender, orange (can extend to blood orange), and peppermint are all toxic to cats so I would not use them at all. Cats have a much more sensitive sense of smell than humans, and even the smell of these can be very irritating. I don't ever recommend using any essential oils around cats due to the risks, and I would see if you can make the candle tarts in a place away from your cat. I hope this helps!
