While Halloween may be fun for us, it can be stressful for pets. Before the trick-or-treaters start ringing the doorbell, be sure that your pet is safely confined in a crate or room so that they don’t escape amidst the chaos. Keep any candy or treats out of reach of pets. Chocolate is toxic to pets, and many other treats or candies can lead to gastrointestinal upset or pancreatitis. If your pet becomes excessively anxious when the doorbell rings repeatedly, discuss solutions with your veterinarian.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. This product is labelled for human use and has no information available for animals that I could find. I would say that most of the ingredients formulated in the phytoplex are safe for use in dogs, however, use with caution as there is no information on its safety in animals. There are safer options out there such as Vetericyn or hydrocortisone spray that I would recommend before using Phytoplex. I hope this helps!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Olive is adorable! There are anti-anxiety medications you can try which your veterinarian can prescribe such as Trazodone. I find this medication very helpful in these cases. Good luck!

Having dogs in his home territory is likely to be very stressful. Natural calming aids such as royal canin calm food, zylkene or adaptil diffusers may help, as well as creating complete dog free zones with cosy bedding, litter tray and food/water for him so he does not need to cross open spaces to get to them
