The experts here on the forum at PetCoach do not work at Petco stores and I don't think anyone would have knowledge of inventory at local stores. I cannot find this particular product on the Petco website. It's possible that it's available at your local store and you could try giving them a call. My dog sheds a lot. Can fish oil or omega-3s help, and is it safe?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is possible to cause diarrhea and gastrointestinal upset by giving too much fish oil. I really like the American journey wild Alaskan salmon oil product for this purpose. I think this product can help Buddy a lot with his hair coat. Good luck!

Moving fish long distance: How to transport and feed them safely?
Thanks for reaching out. If is a good idea to fast for 1-2 days prior to shipment, this decreased feces and will help to keep the ammonia down. Typically clear bags are utilized with about 50% water, and 50% air/oxygen used. A local pet store might be able to assist, as they get shipment in (so have older bags and boxes, which need to be disinfected) and hopefully the skills to ship. Check with the airline also, box needs to be well labelled "LIE ANIMALS" and "THIS END UP". Sometimes a health certificate for interstate travel is needed, so contact airline and State of Utah, veterinarian. Good luck.

What fish oil is best for my dog: human grade or pet formula?
I love Nordic Naturals and I always recommend using a veterinary product when available. They do tests to make sure you are giving the right amount for your dogs size. Science Diet is an excellent food but as you have noticed their over the counter foods typically don't have fish. They do have a prescription diet with fish but it can be expensive.
