Petco should have an inflatable collar that works like an e-collar. It looks a lot like an inflated inner tube and it helps keep her from being able to turn her head far enough to reach her incision site.

Hello, sorry to hear about Charlie. It sounds like he may have a local area of infection. I agree that the area itself will likely take a long time to heal, however, if he is vomiting and having a lethargy (systemic signs) then this is more concerning for an infection that may be spreading to other parts of his body. This does warrant an emergency visit today. There is a high possibility that his vomiting and decreased appetite is associated with his wound and infection, but there are also other causes for these clinical signs as well. Hope this helps and best of luck!!

It will take time and patience. Pants would not be recommended because it would make elimination difficult for Beaux. Shirts, jackets and sweaters are popular, especially in colder climes. Get an appropriate size. Not too tight and not loose. Dress him up and use praise, reward and distraction until he acclimates.

Hello, & thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If the majority of your pups diet is a good quality puppy food ( at least 80% ), then you can supplement with the sweet potatoes, vegetables (?), & only a very small amount of pumpkin. Pumpkin has a lot of fiber, so restrict this so as not to cause a loose stool. Also, make sure it is canned, or cooked pumpkin, & not pumpkin pie filling. Take care.

Oh no, it's not good that Milo ate this pad! I am having difficulties looking up the ingredients of the product since it is originally from Japan. There is the potential that it could contain ingredients toxic to Milo, and without seeing the ingredients myself, I can't say if he will be ok or not. I recommend calling the Pet Poison Hotline at 855-764-7661. There is a $59US charge for the call, but they have veterinary toxicologists available 24/7. You can tell them the ingredients of the KoolFever, and they can let you know what needs to be done for Milo. Good luck!
