My personal preference, completed unrelated to PetCoach or Petco, would be Cosequin ( http://www.cosequin.com/dogs/ ) or Dasuquin ( http://www.dasuquin.com/en/products/#dog ). Both are made by Nutromax Labs.

I'd recommend Dasuquin or Cosequin, which are excellent joint supplements. You can also give Peluche fish oil supplements, which help with fur and eyes. For every 30 pounds of body weight, give him 1,000 mg fish oil containing 300 mg of EPA/DHA combined. Best of luck.

A great product to use with SAMEe is Denosyl. You can purchase this supplement easily online and it comes packaged based on small, medium or large dogs. Ladybug would need the 225mg Medium Dog dose Denosyl. This product is given once daily.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I agree that this is possibly arthritis especially if this has been an issue before. Usually this can improved with joint supplements like Cosequin and the food Science Diet j/d. Pain control medications such as NSAIDs and gabapentin can be used on an as needed basis to help with pain. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment of this. If they agree that this is likely, they can go ahead and prescribe this to help her. Good luck and have a great day!
