I would use this water additive to help with his breath. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=136174 Also, these chews may help. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=118572

Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! Here is a list of the products I typically recommend: 1. CET oral rinse 2. CET enzymatic toothpaste 3. Oravet chews 4. Plaque off 5. CET chlorhexidine chews Not all of these will work but I have had some mixed success using all of these. My favorite is the Oravet chew as it employs an additive known as Delmopinol to prevent tartar formation. Oravet chews are only available in veterinary clinics so you may have a hard time finding this one online. All of the other products you can find online. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hi and thanks for posting on PetCoach! OraVet is great, but there are other options out there as well that may be more available. I would recommend oral health products that are approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. I have linked a list of approved products below. Most of the edible treats can be found easily in most pet stores. http://www.vohc.org/VOHCAcceptedProductsTable_Dogs.pdf

Hi there! I'm so thrilled to hear you're interested in helping Rocky with good dental hygiene! I encourage my clients to use products like Oravet dental hygiene chews or Virbac CET Veggie Sticks. Products like Clenzadent are also available as a sort of mouth rise to help with your pet's bad breath. The best thing, of course is a full dental under anesthesia to get the teeth free of excess calculus, but I understand this is more invasive than chews. Glad to hear you are taking such good care of him. I hope this helps!

I certainly understand how difficult it can be to manage bad breath. I am attaching a handout below on halitosis which will give you more information. http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=129 Unfortunately, halitosis is most commonly due to dental disease that can only be treated by performing a dental cleaning under anesthesia to remove all the tartar and bacteria under the gum line. After a dental cleaning, continuing to brush is very important. I recently started using PetSmile since a veterinary dentist recommended it to me and have been very pleased at the improvement in halitosis in my dogs. https://petsmileusa.com/ Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using PetCoach
