What are the best dog and puppy food and treat brands to buy?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. In terms of treats, I think the milk bones products are both nutritious, palatable and reasonably priced. Good luck and best wishes!

Getting a new puppy? What should I do to prepare for their arrival?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. Every dog is a little different and you may have to experiment a bit to find the food that Roscoe tolerates the best. I don't know what your budget is, or what is specifically available in your area, but here are a few brand options: Natural Balance Taste of the Wild Merrick Canidae Most of these brands offer grain free treats as well. What are the best nutritious food brands for my dog's health and diet?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am sure that you have probably noticed that there are several different foods available in the market which does not make it any easier sometimes. I prefer any of the Purina pro Plan diets as they are highly nutritious and also very palatable. Also, I highly recommend the hill's Science Diet foods which are also great. Both of these brands have puppy specific diets that would be perfect for Snoopy. Good luck and have a great day!
