What are the best dog and puppy food and treat brands to buy?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. In terms of treats, I think the milk bones products are both nutritious, palatable and reasonably priced. Good luck and best wishes!

My dog's Alpo food has stringy cobweb stuff. What is it? Safe?
I would keep the bag and that cobweb piece and call the company. They may have you send the bag in and they will want the lot number on the bag. I would not feed Boss this bag of food and would go pick up a new bag. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Best affordable dry food for my adult American Staffordshire Terriers?
Hello. You have quite a very handsome group of pups! The best dog foods most vets will recommend are those made by Purina, Hill's Science Diet & Royal Canin. I personally feed mine Purina One True Instincts. These may not be the very cheapest foods out there, but they are definitely more reasonable than the incredibly high priced boutique foods which are no better than the basics. Orijen dog food and heavy metals: Is it still safe for my dog?
Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I recommend Hill's Science Diet, Royal Canin, Purina and Iams/Eukanuba. These companies employ veterinary nutritionists and have above industry standards regarding quality ingredients and care to prevent contamination at their facilities. These companies are far superior than the boutique brands. Have a good day!

What are the best nutritious food brands for my dog's health and diet?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am sure that you have probably noticed that there are several different foods available in the market which does not make it any easier sometimes. I prefer any of the Purina pro Plan diets as they are highly nutritious and also very palatable. Also, I highly recommend the hill's Science Diet foods which are also great. Both of these brands have puppy specific diets that would be perfect for Snoopy. Good luck and have a great day!
