You have a lot of flexibility since she's a young/middle age adult, and I'm assuming she's healthy. Basically any food made by a reputable company is going to be fine for her. There has been more and more evidence coming out recently that grain-free diets aren't healthy for dogs (linked to a particular type of heart failure called Dilated Cardiomyopathy) and raw food also presents risk of salmonella and e.coli to both the dog and family around the dog, so I'd generally recommend staying away from both of those options. The brands I like are Hills, Purina, and Royal Canin because they have veterinary nutritionists on staff, have good quality control, and generally make solid products. I hope that helps a bit!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If the bag says it is for "All Life stages" then it is fine for growth (meaning for puppies). I would try to not add human foods. If your dogs won't eat this food well I would try a different brand or try adding water to the dry food or even add a tablespoon of canned food with water. Adding human foods is a slippery slope. Good luck!

While chicken necks can be a part of a balanced diet, feeding them as the entire diet is not healthy in the long run. Choose a good quality senior formula dry food. Stay away from store or discount brands. these typically contain lower quality ingredients and more fillers. An "All Life Stages" food is also an option, especially if you have more than one dog. Brands include Wholehearted ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/brand/wholehearted/dog/dog-food/dry-dog-food ), Natural Balance, Canidae and Orijen.

Typically making bone broth and adding it to the food is not something I recommend doing. The broth can be high in fats that will cause gastrointestinal upset to a dog. This might be vomiting and diarrhea. Also high fat foods can cause pancreatitis in dogs. I would recommend staying with his regular dog food. Hope that helps

You can use Natures Recipe, Purina One or even Purina ProPlan. They all have salmon based formulas. I put the links to them in the answer for you also. I do recommend glucosamine/chondroitin for dogs, typically over 6 years old but any dog can always benefit from it. It can only help. https://www.chewy.com/natures-recipe-grain-free-salmon/dp/36660 https://www.chewy.com/purina-one-smartblend-true-instinct/dp/119199 https://www.chewy.com/purina-pro-plan-savor-adult-shredded/dp/114028 Thank you for using PetCoach.
