I suggest you use Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach it has probitoics in it already. It is also recommend you feed multiple small meals through the day instead of only one or two larger ones. Be sure she has a very small amount of food in her stomach right before bed. This will keep her stomach from staying empty too long. I don't know how big your dog is so buy the correct size food for her. This food has small breed and regular size. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is very normal! I always warn my clients that after severe diarrhea, fasting them, starting chicken and rice and metronidazole that their dog may not have a bowel movement for several days. As long as Hercules is eating, drinking, not straining to poop and is not lethargic the poop with come! If he is straining, not eating or vomiting he should be rechecked. The yogurt is fine in small amounts. Adult dogs and cats are actually lactose intolerant and dairy products can cause Gi signs in some animals. If you want to use a probiotic I would use one made for animals like Purina Fortiflora. If he is tolerating the yogurt you can continue it. Have a great weekend!

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Coco. I would consider a prescription low fat diet such as Purina EN canned food. It is highly digestible palatable diet that easy on the gastrointestinal tract. You can also add Fortiflora as a probiotic. Most dogs like the taste and it can help repopulate her gut with good bacteria after the antibiotics. I hope this information helps!

Hello, and thank you for your question. I don't see a problem with administering a single dose of kaolin and pectin to Luca. In addition, I would offer him a bland, easily digestible diet in small, frequent portions, such as boiled ground beef and plain white rice. For his weight, 2 tbsp every 2-3 hours should work. If his diarrhea worsens or if he starts to have vomiting, reduced appetite or lethargy, he may need to see a vet before your travel tomorrow. I hope this helps, and that Luca feels better soon!
