Sorry, should have been more clear. You’ll pick these items up at your local grocery store or supermarket. Regular human benefiber (odorless, tasteless fiber powder). And any zinc-oxide baby diaper cream like Desitin is fine. Best wishes!

You should have Diphenhydramine, that is the same as Benadryl, just not the brand name. That is the active ingredient in Benadryl. You should have an equivalent to this where you are. Check drug stores and ask someone and I am sure you will be able to find an alternative. As for the fish oils, you should be able to perform a simple online search for canine fish oils or visit any local pet store near you that offers pet supplements.

Benefiber can be used either way in dogs. If you choose to use it dry, just make sure to mix it well in the dry food so that it coats the kibble and is not just a solid scoop that could be taken in one bite. If you choose to dissolve it, use a small amount of water, and then mix that into Tiny's food. In such small quantities I think that a blockage would be unlikely, but if you see Tiny vomiting or being extremely lethargic with a poor appetite, he should be evaluated by a vet.

I like Purina Fortiflora treats - they have the most research behind their product and it is a pretty palatable powder that you sprinkle over food. If you’re looking for a chew VetriScience makes some good products although I’m not quite as familiar with their probiotic.

Some quality food brands that would be good options for Daisy include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, and Purina One. All of these brands have good quality canned and dry options. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
