Please contact the original prescribing clinic fir advice on previous dosage, we are mot in a position to prescribe medication on a public forum. Pancreatitis is an inflammatory condition so pain relief, fluids and antinausea medications are vital, oral medication is ok if vomiting can be controlled, if nit injectable and intravenous treatment is required. An ultra low fat diet is very important long term to reduce the severity and long term complications and scarring

Hello. Chewy does offer pharmaceutical drugs, but you will need a prescription from your veterinarian to order anything. You will need to see your vet anyway because there are no medications made specifically for rodents & the doses have to be very carefully calculated & often the medications compounded to make a safe dose for such a small pet. Yes Baytril can help both in case of pyometra and aspiration pneumonia. Dose would depend on weight so I cannot really tell. Unfortunately though a check up is needed as pyometra could be resolved surgically in most of the cases. Megaoesophagus would require more investigations (ideally radiographs) to be diagnosed properly. Vomiting could be secondary to systemic infection or could have other origins (not easy to determine without more clinical informations at this stage). Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.

Hello. For the most part, veterinary drugs are equivalent to the human version of the same drug & visa versa. If your vet has no objections, he should readily write you a prescription so you can purchase the medication at any pharmacy you wish to use. Just for your information, the product you are displaying is a human medication & not specifically for dogs. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Hello. The range of doses for treating Pseudomonas is quite large, but we do recommend treating at the higher end. In some cases, this would mean your dog may need up to 400 mg per day ( 20 mg/kg/day ). At the very least, I would probably recommend the 75 mg every 12 hours or 150 mg once a day. Please check with your vet to make sure the right directions were given to you. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
