Purina guarantees outstanding quality and taste. If for any reason you're not satisfied, simply let Purina know why. Feel free to mail your original purchase receipt with the price circled, a brief explanation of why you were dissatisfied with our products, the "Best If Used By" date box from the package, along with your name and street address (P.O. Box not accepted) to: Purina, Consumer Services, PO Box 340, Neenah WI 54957.

We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Neither of my puppers like this. I’m mixing it with pro plan lamb and rice in an attempt to not waste it. But my kids are less than thrilled and pick around and leave this kibble in their bowls.

Thank you for sharing this with us and bringing this to our attention. We're so sorry to hear about your and your dog's experiences. Sometimes, when there is a change to their food, dogs may be reluctant to eat some or all of the new products. They are attracted to their food by the way it tastes, smells, and feels in their mouths, which might explain why your pet is not eating the new food. To help get your dogs adjusted to the new mixture of kibbles, we would recommend leaving their measured amount of food in the bowl for approximately 15 minutes. If they only eat the one kibble and leave the rest, pick up the remaining food and do not feed them again until their next scheduled feeding. Eventually, your dogs will learn that they will only have a short period of time to eat all of their food and will start to eat both kibbles. It may take 7-10 days for your dog to adjust to the new product. If the situation continues, please consult and work with your veterinarian. We want to learn more about your experience and further assist you. Please give us a call at (800) 879-1266. We're available Monday through Friday at 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST, and we look forward to speaking with you - The Pro Plan Team

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little worried putting my dogs on new food because their stomachs don’t take well to new food but everything was perfect and they loved the food. The kibble wasn’t too big and not too small for them to chew.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this for my fur babies in the mail, I was hesitant because I have 4 picky eaters. I was very surprised to see that all 4 just devoured it. Purina has always had quality products and the ingredient list was exceptional. This formula is what my babies needed and I am so thankful to you #Purina #PurinaProPlan #Paid #Sponsored

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs are normally picky eaters but they loved this kibble. They eat it throughout the weeks and so far I noticed that their fur looks shinier. My dogs so far finish all of the kibble and the bag is already halfway done. I think the next time I go to the store I will probably buy more from the same brand. I rate it a 10/10. #sponsored

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach turned out to be a hit with my older doggos! I normally don't like to change their food very much just because of how sensitive their stomachs are from being at a older age but I decided to give this a shot and it turned out to be a great hit! They really like it and so far it seems to be working well with their digestive system. I look forward to continuing it and seeing how it works for them in the future. #ad

How much copper is in this food?

Where is the "salmon meal" harvested from? And how is it harvested/farmed?

    1. try purina.com

How do I cancel my repeat delivery?

What is the source of the natural flavor?

      1. Thank you for your interest in Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach with Probiotics Salmon & Rice Formula Dry Dog Food, we're happy to help you out. Hello , I cannot find the expiration or use by date on this bag of dog food . There is another bag available but I need the expiration or use by date on the bags please. It’s not listed in the add and I don’t see in the pictures Thank you

      1. The expiration date is located on the back of the dog food bag. I was unable to post a picture of this but there is a blue area located below the UPC code that displays the Best By date.

How much omega 3 and 6 are in this? Only giving a min % isn't the same as how many mg in each serving.

      1. Don't have the answer, maybe try the 1-800-776-7526 to ProPlan can help? This is working well for my dogs, we mix it in with the hard kibble for now.

Is there a big difference between the normal size food and small breed size? I have a Boston who is around 20 lbs but Petco is all out of the small breed food. I am getting ready to switch to sensitive skin and stomach but need to decide size of food.

      1. I have a medium sized dog so it is less of an issue but the nuggets in the normal size should be manageable by a 20# dog. They are triangular, about 3/8" on a side but are only about 1/8" thick. They are crunchy so the dog merely has to get the nugget to their molars and chomp through the 1/8"..

      what percentage is carbohydrate?

      1. Thanks for reaching out to us. Our Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon & Rice Formula has an As Fed amount of 36.80%. - The Pro Plan Team

Is this artificially preserved and or flavored?

      1. Great question. Our Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon & Rice Formula contains no artificial colors or flavors. It does contain beef fat preserved with mixed-tocopherols. The preservative in the beef fat is needed to help ensure quality and maintain product freshness during the storage and shipping of the specific ingredient. - The Pro Plan Team

Does Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach have probiotics?

      1. Thanks for reaching out with this excellent question, we're happy to assist you. Our Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach Salmon & Rice Formula Dry Dog Food has been fortified with Guaranteed Live Probiotics for digestive and immune health. Please feel free to take a look at our website for more information on this formula here: https://www.purina.com/pro-plan/dogs/dry-dog-food/specialized-nutrition-sensitive-skin-stomach-salmon-rice.
