The issue I had was I have large cats, heavey peeing for a larger animal. This litter didn't absorb enough. The dust upon pouring a new bag in the box was like being on a construction site. It was a corrosive cloud of dust. The trails of wet litter over 100 feet away on my couch an bed. The smell, it did not mask cat box odor an I do scoop an stir 2x a day.

No, I do not recommend this product.

One of the worst litters we've tried. Clumps in bottom of litter like mud. We clean 3 to 4 times daily, more if we are home when it is used , but each time it's like hardened mud in the bottom of the box. Not worthy of the good housekeeping best litter list.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not the best! Zero stars!

This litter doesn't clump. The urine settles to the bottom of the litter box where it turns to concrete. It takes a lot of strength to then break up and remove from the litter box entirely. Will not be purchasing this brand again. Thank you

No, I do not recommend this product.

Will this litter be okay to use for a 5 month old kitten?

  1. Sure it’s excellent litter but it’s very heavy

Is this ok for kittens to use for example if they were to eat it my kitten is under 2 months old

  1. I use this for adult cats and it is excellent for that purpose. For kittens however you may want to use a corn based litter until it is a bit older. Probably a question best answered by your veterinarian or a call to Dr Elsy's. good luck with your little one!

Is this safe for a ferret to use along with the cat?

Is there a production issue that will be fixed soon? This litter USED to be 99% dust free, but in the course of the past year it has changed. It now sends up clouds of dust whenever I scoop. I don't want to have to find a replacement. :(

    1. Has this been an ongoing situation? If not maybe you got a bad batch. I have been using this litter without any issues for several years.

would someone know what the dr. elsey's ultra scoopable multi cat litter is made of ? thank you

This is advertised for multiple cats, superClump?? how super?? I am drawn to friendly ingredients, for both my cat and myself.

      1. I have used this litter in the Littermaid electric litter box and it clumps hard enough and quickly enough that there is little to no "breaking" of the clumps. It's that super. Add to that, it's unscented, controls odor amazingly, is relatively low dust and doesn't bother my asthma... I won't use anything else.

my local petco only sells Cat Attract and I wonder if it is because it is more expensive than Precious Kitty

      1. That's a weird one. However, to resolve your issue you can order Precious Cat online!
