Is this the whole playpen? Or is it just one panel?
- its a surround, no top or bottom.

Some reviews said the gerbils may jump or climb out is there anything I can put on top to prevent them from doing this?
- My maltese has this kennel and even we he stretches he can't see over it. There are different sizes; one was way too low and he could get out. . Gerbils can't climb smooth sides. I would say get something like clear plastic inside the pen that will stop them from getting a handhold. Hope that helps!
