Using the chart, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your puppy per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every puppy is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use this information as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your dog s diet. If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/2 cup for every 6 oz of wet food. Pregnant or nursing females may consume two or three times the recommended amount per day. Transitioning: Gradually mix in the new food over a period of 7 - 10 days, increasing the amount of Merrick Healthy Grains Freeze-Dried Raw-Coated Puppy Recipe each day. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. For your pet s health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Review this Product
Customers say
Customers overwhelmingly praise this puppy food for exceptional taste, with dogs eagerly devouring every bite. Reviewers consistently report visible improvements in coat shine, skin health, and energy levels after switching. Many note the food resolves sensitive stomach issues, describing their puppies as noticeably healthier and more energetic. Strong brand loyalty is evident, with customers repurchasing and recommending to others. A very small number report their puppies were uninterested, though these isolated cases are vastly outweighed by enthusiastic positive feedback across hundreds of reviews.

Questions
Is it just for puppies or can my dog use it till he gets older?
- It has an ingredient that helps promote brain function. We kept our German Shepherd on it for 18 months to 2 years. This was recommended to us for this breed.

What about taurine? That is my only regret. I’m in natural health so I know how important it is;)
- I have no problem with it. My babies seem more energetic since switching and my senior dog has had lung and hip issue her vet was surprised to see how she was functioning. It is essential for cardiovascular function, and development and function of skeletal muscle, the retina, and the central nervous system.
