DON'T BUY!
We bought this tank about 6 months ago and last night the plastic piece for support on top in the middle broke and this morning I noticed the tank was bowing out! My husband had to put a ratchet strap on it to hold it together until we can get something else.

JUNK 55 gallon tank
DO NOT BUY ANY IF THERE TANKS THEY ARE JUNK!!! I purchased 2 different size tanks one a 55 gallon (this one is bowing out in the center) not even a year old and I bought a smaller one and thank god my daughter was staying at my house because the seal gave out and all the water ended up ruining my carpet and my fish were still in the tank in like 2 inch’s of water. They need to stop selling these tanks they are junk. DONT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS

Middle brace is made of very cheap plastic and broke within two years of purchasing the tank. Don’t buy unless it is a temporary situation

Sleeping then I hear my girlfriend yelling I woke up to her yelling and water gushing out of the tank it blew out. Do not recommend for ur turtles or fish.

Center brace failed.
Not even 2 years, center brace broke like others here. Now I have a huge ugly clamp holding it together in my living room until I can replace the tank. They definitely don’t make them like they used to.

Beware stealth tempered glass
Tempered, but not stamped or labeled as such. Verified that it was untempered glass, but when I went to drill for reef aquarium, that back shattered. Unfortunately setting up the tank was a long enough process that they won't offer any return or credit.

- You need a tank topper vs a lid. Your turtle needs to be able to exit the water and dry off completely to bask. They sell them pre-made, however i built my own because they don't fit the larger tanks in my experience.
