Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this wet cat food for its palatability, with even the pickiest eaters eagerly consuming it and showing clear enthusiasm at mealtime. High satisfaction stems from the grain-free formula, premium animal ingredients, bone broth, and mild aroma without strong fish smell. Many report cats finishing meals completely and requesting more. A small subset report adverse reactions like vomiting, though most cases are isolated. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it for cats previously uninterested in wet food.

It has turned my cat into an eating machine since trying it as a treat with her dry kibble - she never seems satisfied at all and has turned to begging to be fed all day long. Not sure what is in the canned salmon recipe, but i am going to wean her off of it asap.

There was something wrong with this batch. The cats ate it without issue, but within four hours all five had thrown up. Thankfully there seems to be no long-lasting issues and all were ok the following day. Petco issued a refund. I did notice that on the three cases of Acana I purchased from Petco, all were at least a year old, and one was a year and a half old. I don't know if that had anything to do with the problem.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I got a can of this for free as a birthday gift for one of my cats. Both of my cats ate it and threw up almost immediately after. Between the two of them they threw up a total of 13 times. One of my cats is a foodie and eats just about anything and I can count on one hand the number of times she's thrown up in her life. Needless to say, we will not be getting this again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Cats know when I touch the bag and it Crinkles. They mow, mow! They love this food. I worry about enough thiamine. But this is high quality food, no fillers. Besides feeding them cooked salmon, this xat foid rocks! Tillie

Bought today and fed our cat one 3 oz can. Made her extremely ill. In fact, I’ve never seen her this sick. She puked and puked throughout our house in 5 of eight rooms, including the hallways - everywhere she went for about 15 minutes immediately after eating it. I’ll return the unused cans back to the purchasing store. Was a real disappointment.

Excited to see our flavors available in 5oz cans instead of the 3oz we normally buy. All six cats turned movie night into steam clean the rug night. 5 different rooms! Bad batch? Maybe?!? We've fed this in the 3oz cans and never had any problems (5 stars!). Our 6 cats get Acana can food (5 stars) as a weekly treat over their normal daily Acana Indoor Dry (again 5 stars). We've never had any problems til we picked these up. (-9 stars) 2565250SNP129

Is this raw cat food? The description is not clear. It says it "starts" with raw ingredients.

Hi Debbie Bee! We utilize a variety of Fresh and Raw ingredients; however, when producing canned foods, all the high quality, nutritious ingredients are cooked in a pressurized environment to achieve the sterility necessary to ensure microbiological safety of the foods.
