Questions
How much should I give my one year old green cheeked conure at a time and how long will this bag last?
- I have a Congo African Grey and although I don’t really pay attention I would say the bag lasts 1-2 months without additional food sources. I don’t feed a particular amount. I fill his bowl and add more as it gets low. I hope this helps.

My Macaw loves Zupreem. She is 18 @ 2.3 lbs. My Amazon is 39 on pellets and real fruit. Balanced amount not to get them fat. Both my birds like flavored pellets too. Do you support any flavored in bulk?
- Hi, I was a parrot breeder for over 30 years, and, at this time have a number of pet parrots - 1 Goffin Cockatoo, 1 Moluccan Cockatoo, 3 Congo greys, and 14 Macaws including Hyacinths. I have used, and prefer the Zupreem pelleted diets. I used to use the large, colored Zupreem pellets, but found each species was picking out favorite colors. I also found there was a lot of waste when the larger pellets were bitten in half and half fell to the floor of the cage. I found out that the colored pellets all taste the same, but parrots tend to favor colors. About 10 years or more ago, I started using the Zupreem Natural Parrot/Conure pellets. To my surprise, all of my parrots seemed to like the natural pellets better, and there was a lot less waste. Let me know if you have additional questions.

What is the size of the pellets? Are they suitable for small (green-cheeked) conure? What is expiration date of product?
- The pellets are approximately half an inch in size. Yes, I think they would be right for your little conure. The expiration date is about one year.
