DIRECTIONS

Step 1 Remove kit components and rinse out the habitat with water to remove any dust. Step 2 Expand Creatures Eco Soil in 1 1/4 cup of water. Fill the bottom tray and set any excess aside for a later date. If the substrate is too wet, squeeze out any excess water. Step 3 Place the climbing branch in the habitat. Step 4 Mist the substrate and walls regularly to maintain humidity and provide drinking water droplets.

I think its great that ppl want to come here and complain about petco providing customers with good quality products to keep these little pets safe and healthy. When these spiders have a good keeper and quality products they are able to live a much fuller life than a wild " keeperless" spider could dream of. Full belly, safety and a high quality starter kit. Big win for the spiders!!

Terrible enclosure. I impulse bought because I needed something other than my diy option. My diy option is better for the spider than this. It is a very inconvenient set up and feels janky. I do not recommend this enclosure. The only plus is the substrate it comes with and the piece of wood. The build of the enclosure on the other hand, -10

I’m excited to use this thing! A buddy of mine at work shows me he has a couple pet jumping spiders and now I’m going to get one of my own! I think it’d be cool to have a little bug as a pet. I think it’s an awesome product and would definitely recommend it to anyone that doesn’t get all up tight about a bug being tended to as a cool little pet. 5 stars! 🥳

Absolutely terrible. A waste of money. I tried to move the little door on day two (yes, the second day of having this), and the door broke, and while trying to put it back on, the whole cage shattered. The jumping spider escaped, and I ended up just throwing everything away. I wasted $50 at least on the pet total, approximately. That money is also in the garbage now. If I could give less than zero stars, I would. It is cheaply made, didn't last more than two days. I would NOT recommend this, unless you want your spider to escape. I wish I could get my money back, but I doubt they will accept a broken product. I feel like I was scammed.

Terrible design for jumping spiders. Fruit flies can easily escape the slits on the bottom. They’re also tricky to get in because the door is so small and jenky. Ended up replacing these enclosures with better ones from Amazon that were half the price AND 2x the size.

I bought this in May for an adult Bold Jumper. It worked ok as a temp enclosure until I found a better, bigger (and cheaper!) one on Amazon. After I got a nicer enclosure for the Bold, I figured I would put a smaller jumper in the ZooMed enclosure. Horrible idea. Houdini the Marpissa Obtusa jumping spider got his name because he has escaped via the sliding door that has a gap big enough for him (or could be the vent holes), not just once, but twice in a week! Luckily, I found him hanging out on my bold's enclosure. Remember: If a jumper's head can fit through a hole, generally their body can as well. This enclosure will not keep smaller jumping spiders in it and it's too small for your larger species (Regal, Bold) when they get into adulthood. Save your $20 and find a front opening (larger opening than this one's) cross ventilation enclosure. Also the door on this Zoomed enclosure is horrible for inputting feeders and trying to remove if needed. Remember: dont leave crickets in over night as they can kill your spider! This enclosure forces you to have to take the whole top off generally to remove any feeders not eaten. 0/10

I think this enclosure is so cute, it’s perfect for just starting out and figuring out how you like having a spider as a pet. Great pricing for the amount of things included as well. I think it’s perfect. I have no idea why someone would leave a bad review when they clearly don’t keep certain pets. This isn’t the place for arguing ethics. It’s for reviewing a product.
