From admirable to annoying
This new You and me octagon Parakeet cage/home with stand has shown me its positive and negatives for a the last month. Its BEST points would be its vintage inspired design as a octagon plus its swing, food bowls and two purches and its detachable cage from its stand, for different placement homes such as a table. Its design would look nice in most home decor spaces. I truly did NOT ADMIRE its smaller spcae that did not allow for fly space. I think this cage would fit only one of my parakeets comfortably, or it would provide a sufficienhome for a.starter space or transfer cage for vacations etc.
The most annoying aspect of this cage is its NON REMOVABLE BOTTOM which made cleaning very tedious.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Beautiful cage and stand
“I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review.” This is the nicest bird cage I have ever seen! I had no idea how big this cage would be. The stand that comes with it is very good quality also. The instructions were clear, and the cage came together with no problem. I would definitely recommend you to order this for your new bird friends.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Cute bird habitat that can fits mostly anywhere.
It is bigger than what I expected but its a good size for the amount of birds I have. Instructions are a bit confusing and the handle was hard to figure out how to install. Overall it is a very cute habitat.
Yes, I recommend this product.

We’re glad this habitat turned out to be a good fit for your birds. We appreciate your feedback on the assembly process, and it’s great to hear the finished setup has worked well for your flock. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Not great for daily maintence.
The cage sits on the stand. There is no removable tray to clean. You have to take the cage off the stand and clean the tray which is attached to the leg stand. I wish there was a removable tray to be able to daily clean the bottom od the cage.
Handle also is not very secure- so don't pick it up by handle-thankfully it popped off before we could even lift the cage.
Otherwise? It looks nice. Just not convenient for daily maintenance or moving cage if needed.
No, I do not recommend this product.

How many budgies can live in this cage?
- The You & Me Parakeet Octagon Cage with Stand is best suited for up to two budgies (parakeets). For more than two budgies, a larger flight cage is typically recommended to ensure they have enough horizontal space to fly and exercise comfortably.

Can this be hung?
- The You & Me Parakeet Octagon Cage with Stand is not designed to be hung; it is intended for use with its included 55-inch tall stand. The cage features safety clips that securely attach the cage to its base, ensuring stability on the floor-standing unit. While the cage itself can be used without the stand, it lacks a built-in hanging loop or handle for overhead suspension

How do you clean this set up. The cage comes off from the plastic tray but the plastic tray is screwed into the legs. I don't see any instructions about this.
- Hi, The plastic base is secured to the stand, but it is still easy to clean. For routine maintenance, simply unlatch the wire cage to lift it away from the base. A removable grate is also included inside the tray, which allows for daily spot cleaning. The grate and base can be cleaned with a bird-safe solution, rinsed, and dried before reassembling. Thanks.
