Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this cat food for winning over even the pickiest eaters, with many reporting their cats eagerly devour it. The minced turkey texture and abundant gravy are frequently highlighted as ideal for senior cats, those with dental issues, and cats with sensitive stomachs. Reviewers note improved digestion and elimination of vomiting in cats with chronic issues. Some customers mention the texture feels too mushy or wish for additional flavor variants, though these concerns are far outweighed by positive feedback. Overall, most consider it an excellent choice for cats with dietary sensitivities.

Great senior food

I added this specifically for my 20+ year old guy for added variety. This seems to be easily digestible for him and he does like it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Thanks for sharing, it’s wonderful to hear your senior cat is enjoying the added variety and finding it easy to digest. At 20+ years, he deserves all the tasty comfort he can get!

Yes! Soup for you!

I originally bought this by mistake - my cat's primary canned foods are all patés - but I've added it to my list of "bedtime meal" foods, which are "jackpot" foods that tend to be soupier. I still feed the WHD Turkey paté as a main meal, but the mined variety is a special treat.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not good

Yeah, this isn’t it. Even opening it, it looked terrible compared to anything I’ve gotten for our cat before. Cat didn’t eat it. It does not look like gravy and turkey. When they say minced/gravy, I guess they mean crumbs of turkey (is it even turkey?) in a soupy gray liquid. Merrick brand turkey and gravy is much better and worth the extra cost.

Great ingredients but soup like consistency

I love this food for my cat because the ash content is very low, and it helps with urinary issues. The only thing I didn't like about this food was that its consistency was too much like a soup, it didn't seem to have any food chunks in it and I felt that my cat's hunger wasn't satisfied. There also seemed to be an oil that sat at the top so before opening any more cans I would shake them and upon opening the oil was mixed in with the food. I think this food would be great for a cat who has no teeth. The reason for my 3 stars was the consistency of the food and the fact that my cat never seemed to get full from the food so I had to change foods.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not What I Expected

I'm sure the ingredients are fine but the consistency was not "minced" it was mush; perhaps something suitable for either a senior cat or a kitten, but my adult cat had zero interest in it. Gave it to a friend who feeds feral cats.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Cat Food

My review is not about the Turkey cat food. I've been purchasing my Katie's cat food at Petco since I got her as a 5 week old kitten, which is about 10 months ago. She is doing very well on the quality food selection Petco carries and the other items I've purchased there for her. I live a little ways and a freeway drive to the store but it is worth the drive. The problem with my last visit is I couldn't get near the wet food as the isle was totally taken up by pallets of heavy items. A sales person attempted to reach some for me but couldn't get close enough. I had a employee of mine with me. He was able to grab about 6 of them but that was all and of course it offered no variety in choices. There were several heavily stacked pallets all on the one isle. I asked why they couldn't have separated them spacing them out on to other isles so customers could reach what they were shopping for. He just shrugged his shoulders as if to say I don't know. I could not wait the 45 minutes I was told it would take for the scheduled unloading would occur so I went home with just the few. It was very disappointing. So I'm wondering if I will need to call the store to make sure the isle's are clear before I come there or just find another source. Thank you

Kittens ate it okay, I added warm water to it.

This was good but I would have loved to have had more kitten choices instead of all life stages. But kitten can food is hard to find right now. Thank goodness Petco has had some available.

Yes, I recommend this product.

"All Life Stages" shows up as "Adult"

Lou Pall

The food is fine - our cats love the minced in all of the flavors. However, as another reviewer has commented, the "All Life Stages" food shows up as "Adult." This started happening a few months ago. I tried to call customer service to report the problem, but they only refunded me my money.

No, I do not recommend this product.
