You know how WH has same flavor in different food forms? Well, they are not same and the ingredients are the first to indicate that. Second - your cat. Cats will smell the difference from afar. You won't full them with the same looking blue can. BOTTOM LINE: FLAKES were the way to go, but as always with WH, best gets discontinued.

I'm so disappointed that Wholehearted has changed their morsels formulations to match the pates. The pates have way less protein and way more carbs, and the ingredients are lower quality (egg and tapioca starch are higher in the ingredient list). Please change the morsels back to matching the minced recipe, it was much higher quality and better for cats! This applies not just to oceanfish but to all morsels formulations!

My two cats are not big fans of canned cat food but they enjoyed the WholeHearted Oceanfish canned food very much. They ate the food voraciously down to the last bite every time it was offered, looking forward to the food each time it is offered.

I have two cats--one who will eat anything and the other only likes gravy. Luckily, this satisfied both of them. There was a good amount of gravy in the can, which if you have a gravy-gulper like mine, you know how good that is! My older, picky cat also nibbled on the morsels and seemed to really enjoy the texture. The food is VERY stinky so my non-picky cat chowed down right away. Good choice for us, especially given the price-point and quality!

I tried it after my young kitten had surgery. He was really hungry and still on meds yet he adjusted fairly well and he really went to town on it. Aroma is bearable and the texture looks good for being cat food.

I have 3 cats and all three of them really enjoyed this flavor, in general all have slightly different tastes. I've stuck to one brand and shredded due to the taste preferences of my cats, but since all three ate this I would buy it again.
