Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this wet food for its exceptional palatability, with most reporting that even picky cats eagerly devour it. The gravy-rich texture and visible shredded real chicken pieces are frequently cited as key reasons for repeat purchases. Many note this is the only food their cats will eat consistently, including senior cats and those with sensitive stomachs. The moist, juicy consistency and simple ingredients appeal to customers seeking affordable, healthy options. Some find the texture too soupy or note occasional odor issues, but overall most consider it an excellent choice for finicky eaters.

My cat was eating this food for a long time without having any issues but for the past couple months she's had upset tummy often and then over the past few weeks she's had upset tummy with bloody diarrhea. every time her stomach starts to get healed and she has a somewhat normal bowel movement then she'll eat this and it just completely messes her up she's losing weight she's very sick and it definitely this food. they change something about the way that they make it, the ingredients they use or the manufacturer or something.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My two kitties love this one. They won't eat anything else beside their Buffalo Dry. Vet said I have two very spoiled cats. As long as they are happy!

How many carbs are in a 5.5 oz. can of the chicken flavor?

  1. I didnt see carb on the can. There is 73 calories in 1 can. I believe there is a calculation using levels on the can where carbs can be calculated. 888 824 7257 is the number to call for Wholehearted team. I have fed this to outside spayed cat for over a year along with a premium dry food. She is at least 13 and likes this a lot.

What is the iodine content in this?

  1. Iodine is primarily found in seafood, dairy products, and iodized salt.

For Chicken Flavorful Flakes what is the percentage on dry matter percentages for phosphorous, protein, sodium, fat and carbs.

Can you tell me the percentage of carbohydrate in the grain free wet food for adult cats? I'd prefer to have an answer by the manufacturer and not someone's guess. Thank you.

  1. Hi foxtroter, It is 3.083 %. Thanks

What is the phosphorus content in Dry Matter basis in this product? There is an answer here (1.14%), but it is 2 years old. I am not sure if it is still valid.

  1. Hi SpockAlly, Yes, it is still valid. Thanks.

Has there been a processing change? My last batch was alarmingly watery compared to the last and the kitten formula of this flavor.

  1. I've noticed my last couple of deliveries have been rather watery. Some cans my cat will not even eat, so I end up dumping them. The quality has changed. I'm going to try one more delivery, if no improvement then I'm going to switch brands.

Our veterinarian has informed us that our 6 year old cat has now developed debates and we need to feed her wet food only but it should be 5% or less in carbohydrates. I can find no  carbohydrate listings on your cans. Are any of your products suitable?

Was the recipe of this product recently changed? We received a new delivery last week with "best by 10 Dec 2023". Our cat does not eat it at all. We compared the new one to the old one (with best by 07 Mar 2022) and noticed that there is no "Omega-3 fatty

  1. Hi Magic10, You may be pertaining to the label change. The recipe has not changed, and while Omega fatty acids is no longer a front of cal callout, it should still be reflected in the Guaranteed Analysis on the back. Thanks,
