Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this dog food for winning over even the most selective eaters, with dogs eagerly devouring meals and licking bowls clean. Many highlight the high-quality ingredients, real meat, and absence of fillers, noting visible health improvements like firmer stools and shinier coats. Reviewers frequently credit freeze-dried meat pieces as a key factor driving enthusiasm. Most customers feel confident feeding a premium, natural product. A few mention concerns about price sustainability or occasional packaging inconsistencies, though these represent isolated cases. Overall, the vast majority consider this a worthwhile investment for their dogs' nutrition and satisfaction.

My dogs absolutely love this food. 2 of my dogs tend to be picky eaters and they absolutely love this. They especially love the meaty bits.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have 2 GSD & one is a very picky eater. When I switched her to this food, she loved it & I no longer had to sit with her trying to get her to eat. Although over the past few months, there have been little to no freeze dried turkey pieces in these bags of food & I now have to put a topper on her food to get her to eat. I just opened a new bag and again I see no freeze dried turkey pieces. Really disappointed that I have decided to have to write this review. I see several other similar reviews and the product obviously hasn’t gotten better for several months. The food is great for my dogs coat & overall health, but stop advertising something that you’re not giving your customers.

I’ve been searching for a food that my rescue would do well on. So far, this seems to be a great choice. He loves the food, his stool has firmed up, and his breath has improved.

Based on everything good we read and heard about Wellness, we opted to purchase this food. We did note a cardboard like smell and I thought it was maybe the freeze dried turkey. Whatever it is, our dog won't eat this food at all, which is a shame because the ingredients sound great and I believe in the company's vision. Now I have to use a topper but our dog will just dig out the topper and avoid this food altogether.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not sure if the recipe changed or what, my dog used to love this food. I rotate her diet and recently bought this one for her, and I felt queasy when I opened the bag. It had a stale, bitter, cardboard-like scent. I figured, whatever, she's not a picky eater. But I could not get her to eat it, she would actually sniff it and back away. Even mixing and coating it in wet food, broth, treats etc., she refused it. I honestly couldn't blame her with how strange it smelled. I've been feeding her Wellness Core for years and don't want to stop! :( But will definitely be avoiding this flavor from now on.
