DIRECTIONS

Care instructions: Machine wash with like colors in cold water on gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Lay flat or hang to air dry.

WARNINGS

FOR PET USE ONLY. Intended to be used for a short duration of time and under adult supervision. Do not allow pet to chew on recovery suit as this may interfere with proper function. If the pet continues to access the wound, use a standard recovery cone collar until the wound has begun to heal. Carefully monitor pet for the first several hours of use to ensure pet has become accustomed to wearing the recovery suit without becoming distraught or agitated. Inspect regularly and replace if any part becomes damaged.

I bought this totally useless suit; I paid twice as much as I would have on Amazon, I wasted my money. The cut is weird and not at all ergonomic; the bottom part is too narrow and doesn’t keep her from licking the wound; it covers her genitals, so she can’t pee or poop; and on top of that, she can easily pull her hind legs out, even though the size is right.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This suit did not cover her spay incision or rather it did but it covered it like a thong , so very little. She could easily work her way around the fabric to reach it. Also, did not fit snug enough to stay on the cat. She kept figuring out how to take it off. Taking it back immediately. 7 month 8lb kitten

I purchased this for my dogs serious abdominal surgery and right after I put it on she wouldn’t even lay down due to the huge straps of Velcro on the sides. They are so pokey, I took it off immediately. Extremely disappointed this product should be removed from shelves. If I could give it less than one star I would.

Dog had surgery on his abdomen and this has given us the ability to keep everything covered with minimal sliding off. It also gave me reassurance that my dog couldn't scratch at his stitches. We were able to open the side Velcro to check on his bandages and stitches. One downfall, there's a small tear after two weeks of use and constant wear located where the Velcro meets the suit.

I bought this for my mixed-breed terrier rescue after her spay. I got the S/M size, and it fits her (11 lbs with a 15" body length) pretty well. The large panels of velcro are stiff, but other than that, she doesn't seem to mind it. That said, it's pretty thin material and caught her licking her stitches through the "shirt", so applied a patch of surgical gauze on the outside of the shirt to help minimize the licking. This will do in a pinch, but if I had to do it over again, I would buy a better suit.

I bought this at 5:45 last night and 3 of the snap buttons pulled through the fabric in less than 24 hours after purchase (the snaps are incredibly hard to pull apart and the fabric speaks for itself.. VERY disappointing). The reason I bought this is because my babe had surgery to remove cancer yesterday and our vet said she wouldn’t have to wear the ‘cone’ as long as she had something to cover up her tummy so she couldn’t lick at her incision and I thought I hit the jackpot when I stumbled on this, but no..

I bought this recovery suit from Petco because I needed something the same day, and it was a big disappointment. The Velcro is thick, stiff, and has sharp edges that poked and irritated my dog no matter how he laid. I even tried trimming it, but it still caused discomfort. For a product meant to help healing, this design makes no sense. I wouldn’t recommend it and plan to return it.
