I’m disappointed that the dog food took 12 days to arrive, and it doesn’t come in a larger quantity. Also there was no advantage of being a Petco member.

I have Pugs, as you may know Pugs shed a lot and are known for having skin issues. I have 3 Pugs. Two of them are prone to skin bacteria issues in Spring and Summer because the humidity is high where we are. And having to bath them with treatment shampoo can be hard on the fur. Not to mention the itchy thy get. Especially with flea allergies. I add just a little bit, about 1/2 pump in their dry food (is natural no grain) and add just a little bit of warm water to moisten the outside and stirring it around real good for about one minute. They’ll eat it! Or won’t get anything else until they do. I add meat to their bowls twice or three times a week with 1/2 squirt of salmon oil. They have beautiful coats from it. No itchy, itchy. Cuts back shedding dramatically! My veterinarian recommended it me. He said it takes time to work. It did! About a month. By second month everything about their skin and coat was totally noticeable. I’m ordering my second large bottle. It lasted more than a year. I really like it. Anyone who doesn’t isn’t mixing a little in their food well. It doesn’t have to by much. And they aren’t willing to keep it up to see the difference by the second month. After that second month it’s just eliminated all skin and coat issues.

how strong is the fish smell?

The aroma is strong because it’s salmon oil. But it doesn’t stink. I keep a small paper plate under the bottle. And give under recommended amount to make it more blended in with food fragrance to come out. Add just a little water (not soupy)! Just a little to create a gravy and moisture to stirring together. I add just a little water to mix in anyway to help save their teeth. Wash their bowls everyday.
