I’ve been using Tiki Cat Aloha Friends for years so was a bit worried when they stopped making it in May 2026. I realized that they’d dropped the “Aloha” and rebranded the product as Tiki Cat Friends. I was fine with that until I got my first order. Right off the bat I was shocked by how much smaller the box was. And then I saw the label “2.8 ounce pouches” and realized that they’d reduced the size of each pouch with NO change in price. And so now if you want to give your cat the same amount of calories, you will have to open a new pouch to get there. This is seriously the most shady and dishonest thing I’ve seen a pet food manufacturer do. I’m so angry and will be searching for another brand. Shame on Tiki Cat for trying to sneak this past their loyal customers.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Tiki Pets

Our new Friends formula is now more nutrient-dense, so consumers can feed their cat a smaller portion while still delivering the same high-quality nutrition. The new can and pouch size reflects this improvement, offering the consumer both value and convenience.
