My 7 week old orphan kitten wasn’t eating much of the dry + wet food the shelter sent us home with. She was very reluctant eater even if encouraged. After a week of that, I switched her to the tiki cat kibble and the salmon mousse today and OMG. Barely even got it out of the bag before she was chowing down. I couldn’t believe it. Then at her dinner feeding she ran over to me the second the bag came out - and for a tiny kitten that has showed no interest in food before that’s huge! We are so happy and as a first time cat mama, I’m relieved and so excited to see her grow now :)

Well, The cats adore this food. I feed wet food but wanted them to accept dry when are not home. I tried other high end brands but they wanted nothing to do with them. Then I introduced then to Born Carnivore and they absolutely go nuts for it. However, now they are not so keen on eating their wet food and it can be a challenge. If you use dry only, this is a winner!

This kibble is great and I love that it is formulated specifically for kittens but the largest bag is only 5.6 lb which is not enough when you have multiple kittens to feed. They should offer larger bag sizes like their competitors. Most other kibble is offered in 16 lb bags. This kibble is expensive for such a small bag. I may have to switch to something else since I run out too quickly. Such a shame because my kittens love this food. :(
